If you’re interested in adopting a dog, please fill out an application so that we’ll know more about you, your lifestyle, your family and this way we can find out what you’re looking for in your new bow wow. On your app please list the dog or dogs you are interested in (in order) 1…2..3.. That way if one of our bow wows have already been placed (or pending adoption) we can consider you for your second choice pet.

If we feel that you would be a good match for one of our bowwows featured on this site, we will phone or email you to make the necessary appointment for you to have a meet and greet with your perspective pet. All dogs are shown in our home (or yours) by appointment. Since these are rescue dogs we are placing, as a general rule we do not adopt our bowwows to families with children under the age of 7. Although we don’t have a history on the dog’s past or know how it got to the shelter, we do have a sense of its personality and desires.

We do not ship or transport any of our dogs. All adoptions must be completed in person.

The dogs you visit on our website are living in our home as loved members of our family.

All adoptions are subject to acceptance based on a review process that includes, but is not limited to reference check(s), in-depth interview and home visit. The decision to place any dog(s) in an adoptive home is determined by the review of such information, and adoption applications may be denied for any reason. We reserve the right to refuse to adopt to anyone without disclosing the reason(s) and to make decisions regarding the final disposition of any rescued dog in its care, whether in, or being placed in, a foster, adoptive home or other facility, confidential.
