Our hearts go out to those who have tragically lost their homes, and we want to do everything we can to ease their burden by helping their displaced pets.

SUPPORT DISPLACED PETS: To all compassionate dog lovers in safe zones not currently affected by the fires or anticipated to be, we urgently need your help! We are calling on you to be on standby to offer loving foster homes for dogs displaced by the devastating fires that have impacted our community. Our goal is to help the many pets that have been impounded as a result of these catastrophic fires. Shelters are overwhelmed, with hundreds of animals being taken in due to the destruction caused by the fires. Sadly, some of these pets may never be reunited with their owners, as many have lost their homes so they find themselves in situations where they cannot reclaim their beloved companions.

In preparation for the aftermath, we are working to rescue dogs from the shelter systems that were already at capacity prior to this devastation. These pets need safe, loving foster homes now more than ever, and your support is critical to our success. We are deeply grateful in advance for your generosity, and we thank you for considering opening your heart and home to a pet in need.

DISPLACED SAVE A BOW WOW RESCUE PETS: We are on standby for any current fosters and/or previously adopted pets from Save A Bow Wow Rescue. Reminder, you are not alone! We’re here and ready to assist! To date, we’ve been informed that only one prior adopter has lost their home, but thankfully, their pets are safe with us. Three other pets are currently on standby for evacuation and rescue, and their previous foster parents are ready to welcome them back to keep them safe.

Together, we can make a huge difference for the unclaimed dogs affected by this crisis. Any way we can support our community, we are here! Our rescue founder, Mandy lost her home in a fire a few years back and can relate to what people are going through so this tragic ongoing situation is near and dear to her heart.
