OUR RESCUED DOGS EACH HAVE THEIR OWN UNIQUE STORY; but one fact remains the same across the board. THE DOGS WE HAVE RESCUED USUALLY HAVE HAD A TRAUMATIC PAST. With that being said, a lot of our foster parents will dog sit their adopted foster dogs for a reasonable donation to the rescue.
To protect the foster dogs and resident dogs, VACCINATIONS ARE REQUIRED PRIOR TO YOUR PET’S DAYCARE OR VACAY STAY:
• Proof of current rabies vaccination certificate from your veterinarian (tags are not sufficient)
• Proof of current Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination. If this is the first time your pet is being vaccinated for Bordetella, it must be in the pet’s system for 48-hours before boarding. Usually this vaccination is good for a year but in some cases only 6 months depending upon the vaccination your vet administers. Be sure to check with your vet to make sure this vaccination has not expired prior to your visit.
• Proof of current distemper/DHPP vaccination
Pet must be free of fleas and on a preventative.
All approved paperwork must be submitted prior to booking your pet’s first stay. Keep in mind that animals can have reactions to vaccinations so please have this done at least two days prior to your pet’s stay. We cannot house your pet if any of the vaccinations are expired. Having current vaccinations in your file at our facility is your responsibility. Please check with your vet prior to your reservation date to make sure your pet is current on all of the vaccinations we require.
